资金援助
Financially Aiding
自九秋助学项目开始起，我们已一共募集到约100,000人民币资金。这些资金用于：1、资助极端贫困家庭，2、资助已被高中、大学录取，但因家庭条件原因无法上学的九秋村学生。我们希望通过我们的努力，可以让九秋村更多的孩子离梦想更近一步。
Since the beginning of the Jiuqiu Children Program, we have raised a total of approximately 100,000 RMB (15000 USD）. These funds are used to 1) support families in extreme poverty, and 2) support students from Jiuqiu Village who have been accepted to high school or university but are unable to attend school due to family conditions. We hope that through our efforts, we can bring more children in Jiuqiu Village one step closer to their dreams.

The Aesthetics of Ancient Chinese Poetry

我们的语文老师通过我们带来的中国地图，向九秋的孩子们介绍了“九秋村”在中国的位置，介绍了黄河与长江，介绍了中国四大名楼，介绍了中国古诗词的吟诵方式。我们希望这些全新的概念能够让他们接触到与应试教育不同的文学与美学教育，在他们的心中埋下“更上一层楼的”种子，在未来的某一天能够走出大山，去看看长江黄河，去看看大海。

Through the map of China we brought to Jiuqiu, our Chinese literature teacher introduced to the children of Jiuqiu the location of "Jiuqiu Village" in China, the Yellow River and the Yangtze River, the four famous buildings in China, and the basic techniques to recite Chinese poems. We hope that these new concepts will expose them to a different kind of education other than test-oriented education, which is literature and aesthetics education. We hope to plant the seeds of "going up to a higher level" in their hearts so that one day they can go out of the mountains and actually see the Yangtze River, the Yellow River, and the sea themselves.
我们将英语与音乐相结合，通过最简单的字母表与简谱教学，带领九秋的孩子们学唱字母歌（视频见首页）。同时，通过我们捐献的两架尤克里里，九秋小学的孩子们第一次试着弹奏了西洋乐器。我们还为每个孩子都准备了竖笛，通过教学一些简单的歌曲让他们感受到了音乐的乐趣。
We combine English with music, and lead the children to learn to sing alphabet songs through the simplest alphabet and simple notation teaching (see the video on the home page). At the same time, through the two ukuleles we donated, the children of Jiuqiu Elementary School tried to play western instruments for the first time. We have also prepared clarinet for each child, and let them feel the joy of music by teaching some simple songs.

As the first Chinese minority group to learn farming, the Hmong minority group has a significant role in Chinese culture, but is often unknown and ignored. We hope that through the Hmong handicrafts, we can make more people aware of and interested in the culture of this ethnic group, and help the Hmong children in Jiuqiu Village through the donations brought by the handicrafts.
